Durobolic contains the highly active anabolic steroid 19–norandrostenolone Nandrolone phenylpropionate in oil solution. Nandrolone, a testosterone derivative, has very marked anabolic and anti-catabolic action whilst, in the recommended therapeutic dosage, it has negligible androgenic and progestogenic activity: it may therefore be used in both male and female with equally potent activity. Nandrolone has a positive effect on nitrogen, calcium and phosphorus metabolism.
Durobolic - Nandrolone phenylpropionate is used to treat anemia by stimulating red blood cell production, and an increase in RBC count can improve endurance during exercise via better lactic acid clearing and oxygen delivery. The blood is also better enabled to carry nutrients to muscle tissue to aid in repair.
Medically, nandrolone is now often used to help treat patients with HIV or AIDS who are suffering from muscle wasting. However, due to the short active life of nandrolone phenylpropionate it would not be a very efficient ester to use. A longer acting ester would be more appropriate to administer in most cases.
Nandrolone phenylpropionate indications:
Tissue building and repair before and after surgery, after severe injures and burns, after severe infectious diseases, osteoporosis, acute and chronic renal insufficiency, mammary carcinoma, aplastic anaemia, refractory anaemia and hemolytic anaemia, general debility, malnutrition, poor weight gain and in geriatric conditions.
Nandrolone phenylpropionate contradictions:
Pregnancy, prostatic carcinoma or mammary carcinoma in males.
Durobolic may be used in these cases with the knowledge that the prolonged anabolic activity will have a desirable effect on nephritis with or without uraemia.
