A number of men show impotency or lowered sexual interest after taking some steroid treatments. Proviron is usually taken just after discontinuing the steroid treatment because it decreases these risks in men. Another appreciable use of Proviron is that it inhibits the aromatisation of anabolic steroids. In this way in an indirect manner, Proviron also avoid swater retention in the body. Proviron is an approved drug for thetreatment of declining physical activity, potency disturbances, infertility and hypogonadism.
The effective dosage of Proviron is 10-30 mg/day, but it can vary depending on individual body requirements. For the complete suppression of estrogen, a combination of Proviron with Nolvadex is effective. If you missed a dose of Proviron, do not take two doses next time because it can cause toxicity in the liver – just continue with your next dose at the correct time. Generally initial treatment consists of 1-2 tablets 3 times per day which may be reduced after some months.
Hypogonadism requires continuous therapy - For development of secondary male sex characteristics 1 Proviron tablet of 25 mg 3-4 times daily for several months. As maintenance dose 1 Proviron tablet of 25 mg twice or three times daily will be sufficient.
