This medicine belongs to the group of medicines known as anabolic steroids. They are related to testosterone, a male sex hormone. Anabolic steroids help to rebuild tissues that have become weak because of serious injury or illness. A diet high in proteins and calories is necessary with anabolic steroid treatment.
This medicine is used in a lot of purposes/aims, but one of the main purposes is the treatment of hereditary angioedema, which makes/shows/determines swelling of the face; also in treatment of genitals, bowels wall, throat. Stanozolol slows down/diminishes the severity and frequency these attacks.
Since Winstrol has substantial properties in it, it is effective in treatment of urticaria, Raynaud’s phenomenon, cryptofibrinogenemia and lipodermatosclerosis. It is also used in the treatment of osteonecrosis in some cases. It has also been in use in treatment of AIDS wasting syndrome.
Stanozolol has been used to treat anemia of chronic disease. Because stanozolol has been demonstrated to enhance fibrinolysis after parenteral injection, it may be efficacious in the treatment of feline aortic thromboembolism or in the treatment of thrombosis in nephrotic syndrome.
